JD Davison Named to NBA G League Up Next Game

PORTLAND, ME -The NBA G League today announced that Maine Celtics Two-Way Player JD Davison has been selected to the NBA G League Up Next Game presented by AT&T, a showcase of top NBA G League players that will take place at NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis.
Davison is one of 28 G League players chosen through both fan voting and league selection. Like the NBA Rising Stars Challenge, the Up Next Game players will be split into four teams and compete in two semi-final games, followed by a championship game.
Davison has played in 28 of Maine's 29 games this season. The second-year point guard is averaging 21.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. He is shooting 46.0% from the field, and 34.8% from three-point range. Davison is currently ranked 5th in the NBA G League in assists per game during the Regular Season portion of the schedule.
The Up Next Game will take place on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 1:30 p.m. ET at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The game will be streamed live on NBAGLeague.com, the NBA G League YouTube channel, and the NBA App.
