Defenseman Ryan Donald Assigned to Reading

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that defenseman Ryan Donald has been assigned by the Boston Bruins from the Providence Bruins to Reading. Donald, a first year pro who hails from St. Albert, Alberta, was recalled to Providence from Reading on December 30, 2010 and played in three games for the P-Bruins without registering any points or penalty minutes In twenty-eight games with the Royals this year, Donald has registered six points (2g-4a) and picked up fifty-two penalty minutes, while playing to a plus-10 (+10).

The Royals are in Estero, Florida, for three straight games against the Florida Everblades starting Wednesday (January 19 @ 7:30 pm). The Royals game day broadcast will kick off with the pre-game warm-up show presented by The Works at Wyomissing on the Royals Broadcast Network (WRAW 1340 am in Reading, www.1340wraw.com) at 7:00 pm.
