
Defenseman Agosta Recalled by AHL's Charlotte Checkers

ESTERO, FL -- The Florida Everblades announced Sunday that defenseman Justin Agosta has been recalled by the Charlotte Checkers of American Hockey League.
Agosta, 24, heads to Charlotte after an impressive start to his rookie campaign posting eight points (4g, 4a) in ten games played with the Everblades. Last season, Agosta posted 22 points (3g, 19a) in 39 games played during his senior season at Quinnipiac University (ECAC).
The 6-3, 205-pound blueliner totaled 45 points (9g, 36a) in three seasons at the University of New Hampshire from 2011-2014. The East Meadows, New York native is currently under an AHL contract with Charlotte, and attended the Checkers training camp in October.
