The Thunder tried to establish a physical game against the Mavericks early, but we unable to best Milner for a single tally through regulation. Matt Finn, scored at 3:32 of the first period, assisted by Jesse Root and Kellen Jones. The Toronto, ON native was reassigned to the Mavericks by the New York Islanders (NHL) on Friday afternoon ahead of their third match-up of the season against the Thunder.
