Dayton Dragons News Release
Dayton, OH - The Dayton Dragons are pleased to team up with the Dayton Daily News and Newspapers in Education to present the 2006 Fan Fest on Saturday, June 3rd, from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Fifth Third Field.
The Dragons will open up the gates to Fifth Third Field for a day full of fun, food, games, and a free souvenir for all who attend. Players will be signing autographs from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., so fans are encouraged to bring a Sharpie and their favorite Dragons souvenirs. Fan Fest is the only time each season that the entire Dragons roster makes an appearance together.
Even if you're not an autograph seeker, there's something at Fan Fest for every member of the family. With a ticket to Fan Fest, fans can:
Hang out with Heater and Gem
Run the bases of Fifth Third Field
Learn pitching techniques from future big-league ballplayers
Bounce, run, and jump in the inflatable games
The cost for Fan Fest 2006 is $10 for adults and $7 for children under the age of 12. Included in the cost of admission, every fan will get a free Dragons hat, a hot dog and soda, and a 2006 Dragons team poster for the team to sign.
All proceeds from Fan Fest benefit the Dayton Daily News Newspaper in Education program, which helps provide literary resources to area school children.
Tickets for Fan Fest can be purchased at the Fifth Third Field ticket office, or by calling (937) 228-BATS. Fans can also print the registration form directly from www.daytondragons.com, and fax the completed form to 937-228-2284.
