Quad Cities River Bandits News Release
The Swing of the Quad Cities have announced that the St. Louis Cardinals' Assistant General Manager, John Mozeliak will be the featured speaker at the All-Star Luncheon. The Luncheon will be held Monday, June 19 at 11:30 in the Suite Banquet area at John O'Donnell Stadium.
The All-Star Luncheon, sponsored by Alcoa, will be a salute to the Quad Cities Sports Commission for 10 years of contribution to the advancement of athletics in the Quad Cities. A limited number of tickets will be available to the general public.
Mozeliak is in his 10th season with the Cardinals organization and his fourth as the club's Assistant General Manager. Mozeliak is directly involved in scouting and player development and assists General Manager Walt Jocketty with baseball operations.
Mozeliak's Major League career began in 1993, in baseball operations for the Colorado Rockies, where he worked in various positions. Prior to his promotion to Assistant General Manager, Mozeliak served as Scouting Director and Director of Baseball Operations for St. Louis.
