Dash Finale with Blue Rocks Postponed Due to Rain

Winston-Salem, NC - The series finale between Winston-Salem and Wilmington on Wednesday night at Wake Forest Baseball Park was postponed due to rain. Since the Blue Rocks do not visit the Dash again during the regular season, the teams will play a doubleheader at Frawley Stadium during their series which runs from Monday, August 11 - Wednesday, August 13. Fans with tickets to Wednesday night's game can exchange their ticket for any remaining Dash home game during the 2009 regular season.

Winston-Salem will continue their seven-game home stand on Thursday night when they welcome the Frederick Keys to Wake Forest Baseball Park. The Dash will send RHP Levi Maxwell (4-10, 4.32) to the mound, while the Keys are expected to start LHP Zach Britton (7-5, 2.68). The first pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

The current home stand for the Dash runs from Monday, August 3 through Sunday, August 9 at Wake Forest Baseball Park. Promotions include Thirsty Thursday and Fireworks following Friday night's game. Fans can also take advantage of Domino's Family Fun Weekends on Saturday and Sunday.
