Darick Hall Leads Offensive Explosion

Game Highlights: August 27, 2016 Darick Hall continued his torrid offensive pace as he sparked an offensive outburst for the Crosscutters, as they take the middle game of the series by the final of 8-2 against the Brooklyn Cyclones.

Hall finished the night 2-for-3 with his team-leading 6th home run, his team-leading 17th double and a season-high four RBI. Hall currently has 21 RBI on the season, good a tie for the clubhouse lead with former Dallas Baptist teammate David Martinelli, who plated his 21st RBI, finishing the night 2-for-5. Luke Maglich picked up his 17th RBI and Brett Barbier tallied his 9th RBI of the season in the win.

The offense backed a strong performance from Felix Paulino, who earned his 2nd win of the season. Paulino finished the night, allowing an unearned run on two hits and a walk, while striking five Cyclones batters of the course of six innings.

Tyler Hallead allowed one earned run, on three hits and a walk while picking up a strikeout over three innings. For Hallead, he earned his first professional save.

Williamsport pounded out 12 hits, their most hits since collecting 12 hits against West Virginia on July 18th. The Cutters eight runs were the most they have scored since scoring eight against Staten Island on August 5th. Both of those games were at BB&T Ballpark.
