Dance With the Stars in Bowie

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce Dancing with the Stars Day with special appearance by Chelsie Hightower at Prince George's Stadium, Sunday, June 30, as the Baysox take on the Harrisburg Senators at 2:05 p.m. Professional dancer Chelsie Hightower will sign autographs, take photos and judge a dancing competition during the game.

Hightower appeared as a professional dancer on seven seasons of ABC's show Dancing with the Stars, most recently with Helio Castroneves on season 15.

The Baysox are looking for entries into the dancing competition that will be judged by Hightower. The team is looking for three couples to dance on the field between innings. In order to be considered for one of the three couples spots, a couple must submit the following below via email to louie@baysox.com:

A one minute video of the couple dancing to the song they would like to dance to in the ballpark. Contestant's names, ages, and a daytime phone number must also be included.

OR

A 100 word or less essay on why you would like to do a couples dance in-game. Your submission must include the contestant's names, ages, the song you would like to dance to and a daytime phone number.

Video submissions are encouraged but are not necessary to be considered. Video submissions should include a link to the Youtube page video. Submissions for the dance contest must be received by Noon on Monday, June 24. Winners will be notified that day. Winning couples will have the opportunity to dance on the field between an inning break and have DWTS contestant and professional dancer Chelsie Hightower judge their performance! Winners will also receive a prize pack courtesy of the Baysox!
