New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release


The Fisher Cats will be home each and every day next week, with three games against the Reading Fightin' Phils (Philadelphia Phillies) and a four-game weekend series against the Future Red Sox, the Portland Sea Dogs, beginning Thursday.

The homestand features three straight nights of Atlas Fireworks, a pair of terrific giveaways, and our annual Dairy Night, presented by Granite State Dairy Promotion. Plus, all kids will get in FREE on the first day of the homestand on Monday. Here is everything you can look forward to for the entire week:

Kids Get in FREE courtesy of Hannaford Monday, June 24 vs. Reading Fightin' Phils at 7:05 PM: All kids 12 and under will get in FREE with the purchase of an adult ticket courtesy of Hannaford Supermarkets.

High School Champions Night Tuesday, June 25 vs. Reading Fightin' Phils at 7:05 PM: Champions representing the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association will be celebrated on State Champions Night, presented by NHHEAF and IAmCollegeBound.org.

Fisher Cats T-Shirt Giveaway Wednesday, June 26 vs. Reading Fightin' Phils at 7:05 PM: The first 1,000 fans will receive a Fisher Cats T-Shirt, courtesy of Coca-Cola.

Atlas Fireworks/Left-Center-Right Thursday, June 27 vs. Portland Sea Dogs at 7:05 PM: Stay post-game for a spectacular Atlas Fireworks show presented by Southern New Hampshire University. During the game, you can win a $50 gift card to Nadeau's Subs by playing Left-Center-Right.

Atlas Fireworks/Dairy Night/Faith & Family Night/Baseball Bingo Saturday, June 29 vs. Portland Sea Dogs at 7:05 PM: Catch a spectacular Atlas Fireworks show after the game presented by AutoFair. It's Dairy Night presented by Granite State Dairy Promotion, and you can win great prizes by playing USA Subs Baseball Bingo. It's also Faith & Family Night with a special edition of Baseball Chapel with Fisher Cats players from 5:30-6 p.m.

Fisher Cats Kids Replica Jersey Giveaway/Kids Run the Bases Sunday, June 30, v. Portland Sea Dogs: The first 1,000 kids will receive a Fisher Cats replica jersey courtesy of Northeast Delta Dental. After the game, all kids can run the bases courtesy of the Buyers Beware Program.

CHECK OUT A NASCAR CAR AND DRIVER!

Our friends at North American Power are bringing a sweet car to Monday night's Kids Get in Free game. The No. 77 Toyota and NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Parker Kligerman will be at Monday's game signing autographs, taking pictures, and giving away a pair of tickets to the race on July 17 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Parker is a native New Englander, hailing from Connecticut, and is ranked eighth in the Nationwide points standings. Click here to purchase tickets and meet one of NASCAR's up-and-comers. NEXT HOOD KIDS CLUB GAME ON WEDNESDAY

The next Hood Kids Club game is one week from today, Wednesday, June 26. All Kids Club members get a free ticket to the game and free use of the MVP Health Care Generation Go Kids Play Area from 5:30-6 p.m.

Kids Club members will also get to enjoy a meet and greet with Ollie the Bat Dog, Fungo, & Slider from 5:45-6 p.m.

At any Fisher Cats home game during the 2013 season, you can take the Subway Fan Challenge. Check out a pedometer at Subway Guest Services located behind section 110, and if you walk one mile during the course of the game, Subway will reward you with a gift card for a free $5 footlong sub.

Everyone gets something out of a random act of kindness. Now, you can get a little something extra. If a Fisher Cats staff member sees you doing something extraordinary for someone else at the ballpark, you may earn a Subway gift card up to a $100 value!

LAST CHANCE TO VOTE YOUR FISHER CATS TO THE 2013 ALL-STAR GAME

This is your last chance to vote for your favorite Fisher Cats for the 2013 Eastern League All-Star Game in New Britain, Connecticut. Fan voting ends Sunday on the Fisher Cats website.

There are plenty of worthy players:

- Kevin Pillar leads the league with 95 hits and is second with 20 doubles.

- Kevin Nolan, from Nashua, has 6 home runs and 32 RBI, and has played sparkling defense at shortstop.

- Sean Nolin has 35 strikeouts in 32 innings and made his major league debut in May.

- Marcus Stroman owns a 3-1 record and 29 strikeouts in 26 innings.

- Ryan Schimpf is second in the league with 13 home runs.

- Brad Glenn has 8 home runs and a team high 38 RBI, and has been on fire this month.

Fans can vote once per day until the deadline this Sunday.

BASEBALL/SOFTBALL CAMPS BEGIN TUESDAY

Last chance to earn a Liquid Planet Water Park pass

The next Dartmouth-Hitchcock Baseball and Softball Camp begins next Tuesday, June 25, and today is your last chance to earn a free Liquid Planet Water Park pass with your camp registration. The three-day camp runs from 8:30 a.m.-noon from Tuesday-Thursday next week, and is open for children ages 6 to 15.

Fisher Cats players and coaches will work with kids on the fundamentals of the game, including hitting, pitching, and fielding, and kids will get to play on the field where the Fisher Cats play. The first 25 girls will also be able to attend a softball station with Jenna Raizes, Fisher Cats front office member and former Division I softball player at the University of Memphis.

Camp is just $99 for the three-day session and includes a ticket to a game and an autograph session with the players.
