
D'Amour assigned from Toronto and O'keefe returns to Ice Pilots

Pensacola, Fla. â The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that defenseman Dominic D'Amour has been assigned to the Ice Pilots from the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL and defenseman Ryan O'Keefe has been acquired from the Trenton Titans of the ECHL for financial considerations.
D'Amour, who stands 6'1" and weighs 194 pounds, played in 61 games last season for Gatineau of the QMJHL scoring 15 goals, 38 assists for 53 points and picked up 211 penalty minutes. He also played for Hull and Rouyn-Noranda in the QMJHL from 2000-2003.
D'Amour was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 3rd round and was the 88th player taken overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He is 20 years old from La Salle, Quebec and shoots left.
O'Keefe, who stands 6'3" and weighs 225 pounds, played in 46 games with Trenton last season in the ECHL picking up 4 assists and 141 penalty minutes. He played in 64 games for the Ice Pilots during the 2002-03 season representing the Ice Pilots scoring 1 goal, 16 assists for 17 points and picked up 216 penalty minutes and also played in 6 games with Jackson that season picking up one assist and eight penalty minutes. O'Keefe represented the Ice Pilots in the 2003 All-Star game.
O'Keefe also played in the ECHL during the 2001-02 season with Cincinnati and played in the Ontario Hockey League with Barrie and Plymouth from 1997-2001. He is 24 years old from Mississauga, Ontario and shoots right.
The Ice Pilots will begin the regular season this Saturday night at Mississippi at 7:35 p.m. The game will be offered through a pay per view webcast with B2 Networks on the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com.
Fans will be able to click on the "Watch the Game Live" icon on the Ice Pilots website to view and listen to the game. The broadcast is available to fans with a high speed DSL or Cable modem internet connection and the charge is $6 per game.
Fans can also listen to the game on the Ice Pilots new flagship radio station AM 1620 beginning with the pre game show at 7:25 p.m. The game will also be available on the internet at www.icepilots.com. sponsored by Sports Avenue.
Ice Pilots forward Dwayne Hay and defenseman Corey Neilson will be the player guests this Monday night on the Ice Pilots Coach's Radio Show broadcast from the Gutter Lounge at Phoenix Crossing located inside the new Liberty Lanes at 3200 Palafox Street from 6 p.m. â 7 p.m.
The Ice Pilots Coach's Radio Show will be broadcast on the Ice Pilots new flagship radio station AM 1620 and also on the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue.
The Ice Pilots home opener is set for Saturday, October 30 vs. the Florida Everblades at 7:05 p.m. Pensacola's Olympic Gold Medal Winner Justin Gatlin â The World's Fastest Human- will drop the ceremonial puck.
Individual game tickets for the Ice Pilots home opener and for all 36 home games are on sale. Cost for Individual game tickets during the regular season are $22 for floor and glass, $15 for sides, 413 for behind the goal and lower upper level and $10 for upper level seats.
Fans can purchase individual game tickets for all 36 home games in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 850-434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com.
Season tickets for all 36 home games for floor and glass cost $649.44, sides seats are $459.00, goal seats and lower upper seats are $411.84 and upper seats cost $324.00 16 game plans, 8 game plans and flex packs also are available.
