Dallas Reassigns Campbell to Texas

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has reassigned goaltender Jack Campbell to the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Campbell, 23, did not appear in a game with Dallas during his recall. He began the season on the injured non-roster list after sustaining an injury during the preseason. With Texas this season, he has appeared in six games with a 3-3-0 record, a 3.80 goals against average and an .873 save percentage.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound native of Port Huron, Michigan was originally selected by Dallas in the first round (11th overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.

Additionally, goaltender Kari Lehtonen was activated from Injured Reserve (upper body injury).

The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars and currently in their seventh season at Cedar Park Center.
