THIS PAST WEEK:
About Monday Night in Evansville: Geoff Irwin's goal at 2:19 of overtime capped off another late rally for the Cyclones, who defeated the IceMen by a 4-3 final score in front of 2,910 at Ford Center. It was the second time this season that Cincinnati won a game in the extra session.
About Friday Night vs. Evansville: A remarkable defensive effort along with a third period outburst lifted the Cyclones to a 4-0 win over the IceMen in front of 3,821 at U.S. Bank Arena. Cincinnati held the IceMen without a shot for nearly 28 minutes, which was the longest in club history.
About Saturday Night vs. Kalamazoo: A two-goal night by Matt Caria highlighted a 5-2 win for the Wings over the Cyclones in front of 8,129 at U.S. Bank Arena. Steven Hodges and Joe Basaraba lit the lamp for Cincinnati in a losing effort.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT:
A Busy Week to Close January: The Cyclones open a three-game week this Wednesday night as they welcome the Elmira Jackals to U.S. Bank Arena. The game will feature $1 beers and a salute to the iconic TV series, "Seinfeld." After an off-day Thursday, the Cyclones will travel up I-75 to reunite with the Toledo Walleye on Friday night 7:15pm. Cincy will close the week with our annual "Pink in the Rink Night" on Saturday, featuring PINK ice, a specialty jersey auction and much more! Proceeds will benefit Pink Ribbon Girls! And don't forget we're also hosting our first-ever Cyclones Frozen 5K at 9am this Saturday!
Record Setter: Last Friday, the Cyclones set a club record when they held the Evansville IceMen without a shot on net for the first 27:42 of play. It was the 19th time in ECHL history that such a feat has occurred and the first since February 12, 2014.
