EVANSVILLE, Ind.- Here's what's happening with the Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light.

This Week's Games (Wednesday, Jan. 28 vs. Reading 7:15 p.m., Friday Jan 30, Vs. Gwinnett 7:15 p.m., Saturday Jan. 31 Vs, Gwinnett 7:15 p.m.)

The Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light, will continue their second six game home stand of the season with a trio of exciting games against East Division opponents.

Wednesday, Jan. 28 vs. Reading 7:15 p.m, College Night

Reading comes to town Wednesday night for a midweek showdown with the IceMen. This game will bring the IceMen's final game of four against the Royals this season.

It will be College night at the Ford Center. Bring your student ID to the arena and get a $13 goal zone. Plus stop by the sales table for a chance to win fabulous prizes from businesses around the tri-state area.

Friday Jan 30, Vs. Gwinnett 7:15 p.m., Paint the Ice

Gwinnett visits Evansville for the first time since opening night. The IceMen defeated the Gladiators by a score of 3-1 in their season and home opener.

You have seen it across the league and now it is here in Evansville! Help us Pink the Rink and support Susan G Komen by visiting the sales table (on game days) or our office to purchase your "Piece of Ice."

With your $5.00 donation to Susan G Komen, you will be able to paint the name of your loved one affected by cancer on ice AFTER the game on Friday January 30th. These names will stay on the playing surface throughout our Pink the Rink game on Saturday January 31st.

Saturday Jan 31, Vs. Gwinnett 7:15 p.m., Pink The Rink

The IceMen conclude their two game series with Gwinnett on Saturday. It will be pink the rink night with the above mentioned painted names still on the ice. The first 5,00 fans will also receive a free rally towel as we rally in the fight against cancer. Plus fans can receive nail files courtesy of Deaconess Breast Services, proud sponsor of your Evansville IceMen.

League Leaders

-The IceMen rank seventh in the ECHL in attendance with a 5,050 fan average.

-Kevin Harvey leads the ECHL in major penalties with 16. Harvey ranks 4th in the ECHL in penalty minutes with 168, the fourth highest single season total in franchise history.

-Chris Driedger is tied for fifth in the ECHL in shutouts. He is also tied for the IceMen's shutouts record. Driedger is 4th in the ECHL in saves with 733.

Milestone Watch

-Donnie Harris moved into third place on the IceMen's all-time games played list with his 125th IceMen game on Sunday. . Harris has appeared in the most games of any IceMen Defenseman and sits just five games back of Nicklas Lindberg and second place all-time.

-Kevin Harvey earned the 600th penalty minute of his ECHL career in Friday's game at Cincinnati

-Matt Lowry is two points away from 10th place in franchise history.

-Brandon Wong is seven points away from 200 in his ECHL career.

-Jarret Lukin is three games away from 200 for his ECHL career.

IceMen Live at Beef O' Brady's Monday Jan. 26 from 6-8 p.m.

Stop by Beef O' Brady's in Newburgh for another edition of IceMen Live from 6-8 p.m. Assistant Coach, Josh Beaulieu will be there with Jarret Lukin, and Bo Driscoll plus both players and Beaulieu will answer questions from fans.

Paint the Ice All week at the IceMen offices

Visit the IceMen offices from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. all week or go to the sales table at games for your chance to paint the ice after the IceMen's game on Friday Jan. 30. With a $5 donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, you can paint the name of a loved one affected by cancer on the ice for Pink the Rink Night on Jan. 31 as the IceMen partner with Susan G. Komen to help the fight against breast cancer.

With a collection of the league's best talent gathered in Orlando to play an all-star game, Evansville IceMen forward, Myles Bell's star shined the brightest. Bell netted two goals en route to being named ECHL All-Star Classic MVP as he led the ECHL All-Stars to an 8-4 victory.

Sunday Jan. 25 Vs. Indy OTL 2-1

The IceMen out-shot the Indy Fuel 31-25 and out played their rivals to the north for over two periods. However, Indy rallied with a late third period goal and the overtime game winner to take a 2-1 victory away from the IceMen.
