INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, defeated the Gwinnett Gladiators 1-0 on Monday at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia before besting the Allen Americans 4-1 on Friday at Indiana Farmers Coliseum, claiming a 4-1 win over the Evansville IceMen at home on Saturday and staging a dramatic comeback on Sunday in a 2-1 overtime win over the IceMen at the Ford Center in Evansville. Following the week's action, Indy's record stands at 13-21-4-3 overall this season and with 33 points, the Fuel remain alone in sixth place in the ECHL's North Division standings, just six points shy of playoff position. Indy's active six-game winning streak and eight-game point streak are the team's longest such streaks in franchise history and Indy has now won six of their past seven games and have earned 15 of their last 16 possible points in the standings.
