Cyclones Receive Several from Milwaukee

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that several players have been reassigned from the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL). Those players are forwards Zach Budish, Frederick Gaudreau, Joe Pendenza, defenseman Garrett Noonan, and goaltender Rob Madore.

Budish, Nashville's second round selection in 2009, impressed in his latest stint with the Admirals; in seven games since getting recalled on January 3, he posted four points (3g, 1a) and 20 shots on goal. With the Cyclones in 2014-15, the Edina, Minnesota native is nearly a point-per-game player, with 22 tallies (8g, 14a) in 27 contests and returns to the ECHL riding a four-game point-scoring streak.

Gaudreau (Guh-DROH), a 21-year-old Bromont, Quebec native, will be making his first trip to the ECHL after starting his pro career in Milwaukee. In 28 games for the Admirals, the six-foot, 182-pound forward has accrued nine points (4g, 5a) and a +6 rating. Prior to going pro, Gaudreau played three seasons in the QMJHL with Shawinigan and Drummondville, amassing 134 points and 195 games. He was a member of Shawinigan's 2012 Memorial Cup Championship team.

Pendenza, a rookie forward, is back in Cincinnati for the second time this season after playing in one game for the Cyclones in early December. With the Admirals this year, the UMass-Lowell alum has compiled 11 points (6g, 5a) in 27 tilts along with a solid +11 plus/minus rating.

Noonan, like Pendenza, is headed back to the Queen City for the second time in 2014-15 after a short ECHL stint. His only appearance for the Cyclones came on January 2 at Kalamazoo, where he registered five shots on net. Nashville's fourth round selection in the 2011 NHL Draft, Noonan has appeared in 24 games for the Admirals and has contributed eight points (4g, 4a) with 13 penalty minutes. Prior to going pro, Noonan was a four year letter winner at Boston University, where he earned 81 points in 144 collegiate games.

Madore, last year's Kelly Cup Playoffs MVP, was summoned to the AHL for the first time this season after Pekka Rinne went down with an injury in Nashville - although he didn't see action in his latest call-up. With the Cyclones this season, the 26-year-old has gone 10-6-1 with a 2.66 goals-against average.
