DULUTH, Ga. - Two days after unveiling their popular new Atlanta Flames-inspired alternate jerseys, the Gladiators (12-21-1-1) will hit the ice in their new duds Friday night as they take on the Florida Everblades (25-6-0-3) at The Arena at Gwinnett Center. Gwinnett handed Florida one of their six regulation losses back on Saturday, in their lopsided 7-2 win. All-Star representative Brenden Walker tallied two goals while captain Sean Berkstresser added a goal and two assists.

To honor the history of hockey in Atlanta, the Gladiators will welcome former Atlanta Flames players Tim Ecclestone, Eric Vail, and Willi Plett tonight to drop the ceremonial puck and sign autographs in the second intermission. Former Flames goaltender Dan Bouchard will be in attendance tomorrow night to also drop the puck and sign autographs.

Glads Notes:

Power Surge: Gwinnett's power play is clicking at a 20.2% conversion rate, good for 5th in the league. At home, the team is 14-for-71 (19.7%), 12th in the league. On the road, they are even better - 11-for-53 (20.8%), 5th in the ECHL. The team has scored a power play goal in 12 of their last 18 games played.

Walk On: Brenden Walker was named as an alternate to the 2015 ECHL All-Star Classic on Thursday. In the game, the second-year forward scored the second ECHL All-Stars goal at 3:51 of the 2nd period.

Gladiators Ahoy: Three players currently on the Gladiators roster have been assigned from their AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates- James Melindy, Dyson Stevenson, and Greg Carey - and seven more - Joel Hanley (POR), Dan O'Donoghue (POR), Louis Domingue (POR), Jordon Southorn (POR), Mike Lee (POR), Bretton Stamler (HFD), and Casey Pierro-Zabotel (NOR) - have spent time in the AHL this year.

Milestones: Joe Stejskal played in his 125th ECHL game Saturday ... Garry Nunn is one game away from his 250th professional and ECHL game ... Anthony Perdicaro picked up his 100th ECHL PIM on Saturday ... Casey Pierro-Zabotel is six points away from his 300th professional point ... Geoff Paukovich picked up his 500th professional penalty minute on Saturday; he is also two goals from his 50th as a pro, and two points away from his 100th ECHL point.

Streaks: Casey Pierro-Zabotel has four goals and 16 assists in his last 16 games, and points in five of his last seven (4g, 5a) ... Sean Berkstresser has scored a goal in four of his last seven games (4g, 3a during that span)
