TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: Tonight the Cyclones will bid for their third consecutive victory as they close out a two-game weekend set with the South Carolina Stingrays. Last night, the Cyclones held onto a 4-3 lead to earn their 20th win of the season and remain unbeaten in regulation against the "˜Rays under Jarrod Skalde (6-0-1). Over the year's the Clones have had great success against the "˜Rays - going 16-6-3 since 2006.

TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: Bobblehead Night - The first 1,500 fans through the gates will receive a Cyclones Picture Frame Bobblehead!

SCOUTING THE STINGRAYS: Spencer Carbery's team had its seven-game road winning streak snapped last night, but still have won eight out of their last ten games. One major reason for their success this year has been the team defense; they are surrendering the second-fewest average goals per game (2.32) and sport the league's fifth-best goaltender in Philipp Grubauer. What is more remarkable, however, is their success in spite of an offense who has notched the third-fewest goals of any team in the ECHL (123). Pierre-Luc O'Brien leads the Stingrays in overall scoring with 20 goals and 15 assists in 45 games, but was held to just one assist last night. The "˜Rays also feature a couple of former Cyclones, as Maxime Lacroix and Greg Stewart will both make their return to the Queen City this weekend. In net, Philipp Grubauer has been among the ECHL's elite backstops. He was named Rookie of the Month for January after posting a 7-1-0 record and a 1.66 goals-against average. Overall, he has earned a 17-9-2 mark with a 2.21 GAA. His win totals are second most in the league.

About Last Night vs. South Carolina: Brad Fogal made 30 saves while Dan Eves' third period goal proved to be the game-winner as the Cyclones defeated the Stingrays by a 4-3 final score in front of 3,837 at U.S. Bank Arena. Jonathan Hazen, Rob Slaney, and Mike Pelech all had multi-point games in the victory.

Anyone Want Some Shots?: The Cyclones sport some of the best ECHL numbers in the shots-on-goal category. Their average of 32.58 shots-per game ranks fifth while their 28.20 shots-allowed-per game both ranks fourth among all 20 ECHL teams this season.

Strike Early, Strike Often: The Clones have scored the game's first goal in nearly 54 percent of their games, going 14-4-0-3 in such situations. They are an impressive 7-1-0-3 when scoring the first two goals in a game.

Unfriendly Hosts: The Cyclones are extremely difficult to beat when playing at U.S. Bank Arena this season. They are 15-3-0-2 at 100 Broadway, while outscoring their opponents by an average of 4.1-2.5 per game and outshooting them by an average of 32-27. They have allowed an ECHL sixth-fewest 59 goals in downtown Cincinnati.
