ESTERO, FL- Dale Mitchell scored a goal and added 2 assists to help carry the Reading Royals to a 5-4 come from behind victory over the Florida Everblades in overtime on Saturday night at Germain Arena.

Reading opened up the scoring, when Kenny Ryan intercepted a pass in the Everblades defensive zone and brought it into the crease where he put the puck into the back of the net past Florida goalie Shane Owen.
The Everblades answered back taking advantage of the powerplay, as Mathieu Roy won the battle in the crease with reading goalie Jussi Rynnas putting the puck in the net, tying the game at one.
Just two minutes later, Reading would retake the lead when the Everblades were two skaters down. The goal came when Casey Haines found dale Mitchell alone in the left side circle, whose wrist shot would get past Owen giving the Royals a 2-1 lead.
Florida refused to back down and capitalized on another Reading penalty when David Rutherford received a pass from McNicoll in the slot and fried a wrist shot to tie the game again at two.
Florida continued to make the most out of Reading's penalties scoring a third powerplay goal in the second period. Ryan McGinnis snapped a shot from the point toward the net, which was redirected in front by Roy past Rynnas for the goal. The goal was the second of the game for Roy.
Reading tied it up again at the 15-minute mark when Dennis McCauley's back-handed shot found earned him the score, tying the game at three
Florida did not allow another period to end in a tie as Rylan Galiardi sent a pass through the crease to Brayden Irwin whose wrist shot beat Rynnas giving verblades a 4-3 lead going into the second intermission.
