Allen York Returns to Express

Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, announced today that G Allen York has been assigned to the Chicago Express from Springfield (AHL) by Columbus (NHL).

York comes back to Chicago after being assigned to the Falcons on January 24. With Chicago this season, York has collected 3.62 GAA along with a 4-3-1-0 record and a .888 save percentage. The first year pro has played in three different levels of hockey this season, including stops in Columbus with the Blue Jackets and the Springfield Falcons. With Springfield, York has posted a 1-1-0-0 record with a 3.94 GAA and .871 save percentage.

The Express hit the road for the next four games, including tonight in Elmira, and return home against the Gwinnett Gladiators on Friday, February 17. That game is a dollar Friday, featuring one dollar beers and one dollar hot dogs.
