Greenville Swamp Rabbits News Release
GREENVILLE, SC - Tonight the Greenville Road Warriors get their second crack at the division-leading Gwinnett Gladiators in as many nights as they travel to the Arena at Gwinnett Center for their fifth of six straight road games.
The Road Warriors (26-17-2, 54 pts.) visit Gwinnett (24-12-10, 58 pts.) today for the 11th of 17 meetings this season between the clubs. Fans can follow the action by watching live on America One or listening at www.greenvilleroadwarriors.com. The Road Warriors are 6-4-0 this season against the Gladiators and 16-11-0 overall in their history against Gwinnett. After splitting a pair of back-to-back games with Gwinnett in Duluth in mid-October, the Road Warriors have found the sledding much tougher on the road against Gwinnett and have lost three straight there. Gwinnett's defense has been largely responsible for the Road Warriors' defeats as it has limited Greenville to an average of 1.25 goals per game in the Gladiators' four victories on home ice. Greenville scored four goals in its lone victory in Duluth on October 22.
