
Cyclones Add Ambroz from Lake Erie

CINCINNATI, OH- The Cincinnati Cyclones have received forward Seth Ambroz from the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League (AHL). He becomes the third Lake Erie Monster sent to Cincinnati, joining forward Peter Quenneville and goaltender Brad Thiessen.
Drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the fifth round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Ambroz has appeared in one game this season for Lake Erie. He made his professional debut last season for the Springfield Falcons of the AHL, skating in four games.
Prior to Springfield, the New Prague, MN, native enjoyed a successful collegiate career at the University of Minnesota, accounting for 70 points (40g, 30a) in 159 career games. He served as an alternate captain during his senior season in 2014-15, and helped lead the Gophers to NCAA tournament births in each of his four seasons. During his junior season, Ambroz helped the Gophers to the NCAA Championship Game, where they ultimately fell to Union College. Ambroz was also teammates with current Cyclones forward Zach Budish during his freshman and sophomore seasons.
