Ginn Assigned to Gladiators from AHL Providence

DULUTH, GEORGIA - Matt Ginn, who spent time with Atlanta during the team's Training Camp earlier this month, has be re-assigned to the Gladiators by the AHL's Providence Bruins.

While with the P-Bruins, the goaltender made one start, a 3-1 loss to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Ginn was assigned to the Gladiators on October 4th, in the midst of camp, before being recalled to Providence on October 9th. The Ontario native also spent time in the ECHL last season, joining the Florida Everblades after completing his collegiate career with Holy Cross College. While with Florida, Ginn registered a 5-1-1 record with a .932 save percentage and 2.12 GAA.

In a separate transaction, the Gladiators announced today that they have traded forward Todd Fiddler to the Wichita Thunder in exchange for future considerations. In five games with Atlanta, Fiddler had one goal and one assist for two total points and a -3 plus/minus rating.
