Forward Todd Fiddler with the Atlanta Gladiators

Wichita, KS (October 28th) - The Wichita Thunder, proud member of the ECHL and powered by Toyota, announced today that the team has acquired forward Todd Fiddler in a trade with the Atlanta Gladiators for future considerations.
Fiddler, 22, signed with Atlanta before the season and appeared in five games this year. A native of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, the 5-foot-11, 210-pound forward played most of his rookie season last year with the Quad City Mallards before being sent to the Ontario Reign. The second-year pro finished with 27 points (13g, 14a) in 50 games with Quad City.
Prior to turning pro, Fiddler played six seasons in the Western Hockey League with Prince Albert, Prince George Spokane, Moose Jaw and Medicine Hat. His best season came in 2013-14, where he racked up 88 points (48g, 40a) in 52 games with Prince George. During the 2012-13 season, he tallied 77 points (42g, 35a) in Spokane. After wrapping up a successful junior career, he signed with the Colorado Eagles near the end of the 2013-14 season and appeared in eight games.
The Thunder returns home for a pair of games against the Colorado Eagles, starting on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. Friday is Pink at the Rink, presented by RA Ruud and Son and Machinist Union Local Lodge 839. Saturday afternoon is the Halloween Extravaganza. Starting 1:05 p.m., bring the kids out for a costume contest and trick-or-treating before the game.
