Cutters Stoked For Series Win

Madison Stokes came up big, providing the go-ahead two run double in the bottom of the 5th inning, finishing 1 for 4 on the night. Stokes has 4 RBI over his first three games in Williamsport.

Jonathan Guzman recorded the other Cutters RBI, finishing the night 1 for 4, upping his RBI total to 9 on the season. Rafael Marchan was the only Cutter to finish with a multi-hit game, going 2 for 4 with a pair of singles.

Francisco Morales earned his 3rd win of the season, allowing one run on five hits and a walk, while striking out one over five innings of work.

Keylan Killgore earned his 2nd save of the season, allowing two hits over four shutout innings of relief.

Killgore struckout five.

The Crosscutters improve to 7-6 at home with the win. They win the series against the ValleyCats, their first series win since sweeping Auburn at home on June 18th through the 20th.
