
Cutters Ninth Inning Rally Comes Up Short

The Crosscutters offense came up short after falling behind 6-2 they loaded the bases in the ninth.
Herlis Rodriguez singled on the infield which scored Wilmer Oberto to cut the deficit to 6-3 but that is as close as the Cutters would get. Two batters later Cord Sandberg would be called out on strikes with the bases loaded.
Four different Crosscutters made their professional debuts tonight Drew Stankiewicz (11th) Arizona State started at second base, Derek Campbell (20th) California started as the designated hitter, Preston Packrall (24th) Tampa and LHP Joe DeNato (19th) Indiana made their first relief appearances
Cutters (1B) Rhys Hoskins picked up his first professional hit with a single in the ninth inning.
