Cutters final homestand begins Wednesday

The Williamsport Crosscutters return to Historic Bowman Field on Wednesday for their final homestand of 2005. The 9-game stretch includes visits by Aberdeen, New Jersey, Hudson Valley and Staten Island. Williamsport is still in the thick of the race for the wild-card playoff position, which could go right down to the wire. The Cutters are on the verge of eclipsing last year's attendance figure of 75,785. With 9 home games to play the team has drawn 65,078 fans to Bowman Field and could challenge the Williamsport short-season record of 83,346 set in 2003.

Wednesday, August 31 vs. Aberdeen IronBirds "" 7:05pm Team Photo Night #2 Presented by Yellow Book USA & 107.9 The River. Free Cutters team photos for the first 1,500 fans.

Double-Win Wednesday If the Cutters win tonight all fans receive a free ticket to the September 7 game upon exiting the stadium.
