Curve-Thunder Postponed on Wednesday

TRENTON, N.J. - Wednesday's game between the Altoona Curve and Trenton Thunder at ARM & HAMMER Park has been postponed due to rain and impending severe weather. The contest will be made up as part of a double-header on Thursday, May 30.

Play for Thursday's double-header will begin at 5 p.m. and will consist of two seven-inning games in Trenton to wrap up Altoona's 10-game road trip.

Right-hander James Marvel (4-5, 3.81) will start for the Curve in game one against Thunder righty Deivi Garcia (2-2, 3.46). The second contest will pit right-hander Austin Coley (0-0, 4.50) for Altoona against Trenton right-hander Albert Abreu (1-4, 4.78).

After a season-long 10-game road trip, the Curve return home on Friday, May 31 and open a three-game series against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats as the Allegheny Yinzers, presented by Keller Engineers, with postgame fireworks, presented by Altoona Honda, set to Pittsburgh-sports jams.
