
Curve Back for the Final Homestand of the 2009 Season

ALTOONA, Pa - The Altoona Curve return to Blair County Ballpark Tuesday for the final three home games of the 2009 season. The Curve welcome in the division leading Akron Aeros (AA-Cleveland Indians) for three games from Tuesday, September 1st to Thursday, September 3rd.
Fans have their last chance to see Everyone's Hometown Team and the final edition of the Curve's Family Values Promotions. The series begins with the final Two-For-Tuesday presented by Atlantic Broadband. In the middle game of the series the Curve will have a Gift Card Grab following the 6:35 p.m. contest where roughly a hundred fans will have the opportunity to snatch up hundreds in savings from dozens of local businesses. The series concludes with Field of Dreams Night at BCB as well as a post-game fireworks display.

- Win-It-Wednesday presented by WALY 103.9 and WTAJ: The first 2,000 fans into BCB will receive a guaranteed winning scratch off ticket
- Gift Card Grab: Dozens of local businesses have donated gift cards for fans to grab up in the outfield following Wednesday's contest.

- Thirsty Thursday presented by Rocky 104.9: Fans receive half off on small fountain sodas and 16 oz Bud Light draft beer.
- Curve Food Drive at Blair County Ballpark beginning at 9:00 a.m. that will run through the end of the game that will benefit the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry. Canned goods, other non-perishable food items and monetary donations are needed to help our local food pantry. Please give generously!
