
Cubs GM Jim Hendry to Make Stop at Champion Window Field

FLORENCE, KY - Attention Cubs fans, Cubs' Vice President and General Manager Jim Hendry will be coming to Champion Window Field on Thursday, August 6.
Hendry has served as the Cubs GM since 2002 and has put together three National League Central Division Championship teams including a back-to-back run the past two seasons.
Gates open at 6:05 p.m. on August 6 for the 7:05 p.m. game. Hendry will throw out the first pitch and sign autographs for fans on the Champion Window Field concourse.
The night is also a Kentucky Powerball Thirsty Thursday presented by Miller Lite and WEBN. Fans can enjoy Miller Lite and Pepsi products for only $1.
The Florence Freedom will be taking on the Kalamazoo Kings that night, which could turn into a battle for first place if the Freedom stay hot. The club has won nine straight games at home and eight of its past 11 overall.
