Crushers Receive Frontier League Postseason Awards

The Lake Erie Crushers are the proud recipients of three postseason awards in the Frontier League:

Relief Pitcher Jonathan Kountis was named the Reliever of the Year posting a 0.95 ERA in 38 appearances. The right-handed pitcher from Akron, OH compiled a record of 5-2 while gathering 18 saves and striking out 64 batters to only 19 walks in 56.2 IP.

Your voice of the Crushers, Andy "Bull" Barch, was also named Broadcaster of the Year and the Clubhouse Manager Ryan Maxwell was named "Clubbie" of the Year to round out the postseason awards for the Crushers.

The Lake Erie Crushers, the 2009 Frontier League Champions, and 2011 Frontier League Organization of the year, play ball at All Pro Freight Stadium, a 5,000 capacity stadium located in Avon, Ohio.
