Syracuse, NY (November 8, 2006) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have recalled right wing Brent Walton from Dayton (ECHL) and have loaned right wing Jeffrey Szwez to Dayton.

Walton, 23, has appeared in four games with Dayton this season, recording two goals and six penalty minutes. He appeared in one game with Syracuse earlier this season, without recording a point. A native of Elmira, Ontario, Walton appeared in six games with Syracuse last season, recording seven penalty minutes.

Szwez, 25, has appeared in seven games with Syracuse this season, recording seven penalty minutes. He split last season between Syracuse and Dayton, recording 11 points (5g, 6a) in 21 games with the Crunch and 47 points (25g, 22a) in 51 games with the Bombers. A native of Etobicoke, Ontario, Szwez signed a contract with Syracuse on September 22, 2006.

The Crunch host Chicago on Friday, November 10 and Omaha on Saturday, November 11.
