Crunch Recall Alex Hutchings from Everblades

Syracuse, NY- The Syracuse Crunch have recalled left wing Alex Hutchings from the club's ECHL affiliate the Florida Everblades, Crunch GM Julien BriseBois announced today.

Hutchings, 22, has 26 points (11g, 15a) in 30 games with the Everblades this season. The 5-10, 184-lb., winger has appeared in 103 career ECHL games with the Everblades, totaling 76 points (36g, 40a). He has also earned five points (2g, 3a) in 13 games with the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL. Hutchings made his Syracuse Crunch debut on Jan. 12 vs. Rochester. The Burlington, Ontario native was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the fourth round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The Crunch travel to Rochester on Jan. 18 before hosting the Lake Erie Monsters at the War Memorial on Jan. 19. Both season tickets and single game tickets for the 2012-2013 season can still be purchased either in person at the Crunch Box Office located at the War Memorial on 800 South State Street in Syracuse, or by calling the office at (315) 473- 4444.
