
Crunch Announce Potential First Round Dates

Syracuse, NY (April 9, 2002) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today five potential schedules for the 2002 Calder Cup Western Conference Quarterfinals, pending the outcome of this week's qualifying round match-ups featuring Chicago (7th seed) against Cincinnati (10) and Philadelphia (8) against Rochester (9)
The Crunch's best-of-five first round series will pair them with the lowest-seeded team to come out of the qualifying round, either Cincinnati, Rochester or Philadelphia.
The five potential first round series are as follows:
Scenario #1 - Cincinnati (10) defeats Chicago (7) in two or three games
Game 1 Saturday, April 13 Cincinnati @ SYRACUSE 7:30 p.m.
Game 2 Tuesday, April 16 Cincinnati @ SYRACUSE 7:00 p.m.
Game 3 Saturday, April 20 SYRACUSE @ Cincinnati 7:35 p.m.
*Game 4 Sunday, April 21 SYRACUSE @ Cincinnati 5:05 p.m.
*Game 5 Tuesday, April 23 Cincinnati @ SYRACUSE 7:00 p.m.
Scenario #2 - Rochester (9) defeats Philadelphia (8) in two games (series ends on April 11) and Chicago (7) defeats Cincinnati (10)
