Crunch Announce Details of Sleep City Wacky Pajama Night, Set For January 17

Syracuse, NY (January 14, 2004) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today the details of the Sleep City Wacky Pajama Night at the Crunch and the ‘test a mattress' with a player program.

On Saturday, January 17 all fans that wear their pajamas to the Syracuse Crunch/Cleveland Barons game will be asked to the ice during the first intermission for a pajama parade, with Al, the Crunch's mascot. Fans interested in participating in the parade must sign up at the Advance Auto Parts Guest Service Center prior to the first intermission.

The fan with the ‘Wackiest Pajamas' will win a $500 gift certificate from Sleep City and a Crunch prize pack.

On Monday, January 19, Crunch players Aaron Johnson, Tyler Sloan and Brandon Sugden will be at Sleep City in Liverpool, from 6-7 p.m. to assist fans in ‘testing a mattress.'

During the appearance, fans will have the opportunity to ‘test a mattress' with Johnson, Sloan and Sugden. In addition, the players will be available for autograph signing.

Sleep City is located at 7567 Oswego Rd., in Liverpool. For directions call 622-1112.

Syracuse hosts Toronto on Friday, January 16 for Empire Vision Centers Poster Night. All fans in attendance will receive a Crunch poster, courtesy of Empire Vision Centers. Saturday, January 17, the Crunch host the Cleveland Barons. Both games start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for both games are available by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter box office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
