Syracuse Crunch News Release

Syracuse, NY (November 9, 2007) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Central New York Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CNY SPCA) will be on hand at the Saturday, November 10 game vs. Rochester.

The CNY SPCA will have a table set up to accept donations of pet food, blankets and toys. Fans may also purchase tickets for Saturday's game at the SPCA shelter located at 5878 East Malloy Road in Syracuse. Profits from ticket sales raised at the shelter will go back to the SPCA.

The mission of SPCA International is to raise awareness of the abuse of animals to a global level, to teach and foster good pet parenting practices, and to promote spay and neuter programs around the world with the goal of eradicating the need to euthanize healthy and adoptable companion animals of all ages. They accomplish this mission through both internal and outreach programs, and by supporting shelters already working to achieve these goals.

The Crunch's next home game is Friday, November 9 vs. Chicago at the War Memorial at Oncenter. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, at the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
