The team then loaded the bases on a Ibandel Isabel walk and a Tyler Stephenson single. Gavin LaValley brought home the team's first and only run on a sacrifice fly.

In the eighth inning, the Biscuits leaped ahead on a three-base error on a deep hit by Josh Lowe. They added one more on a Dalton Kelly RBI single.

Lookouts starting pitcher Tony Santillan was lights out for the home team early. The righty struck out eight batters in five innings while only allowing four hits.
