Crohn's & Colitis Foundation Take Steps Celebration and Walk at Parkview Field

Fort Wayne, IN -On Sunday, the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation's Indiana Chapter will host its seventh annual Take Steps Celebration and Walk at Parkview Field in Fort Wayne to raise funds to find cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Fifteen-year-old Alena Bredemeyer will be recognized as the honored hero for the event, sharing her story living with Crohn's disease. Alena is one of more than 80,000 kids in the United States living with Crohn's or ulcerative colitis, two painful, medically incurable inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) that attack the digestive system.
