
Olympic Snowboarder Nick Baumgartner to Appear for Timber Rattlers Yooper Day

GRAND CHUTE, WI - Yooper Day is going Olympic at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium on Saturday. Nick Baumgartner, a three-time United States Olympic snowboarder from Iron River, is scheduled to appear at the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers game against the Peoria Chiefs. Game time is 1:05pm.
Baumgartner will take batting practice with the Timber Rattlers before the gates to the stadium open and throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the game. Baumgartner will also sign autographs by the Leinie Lodge on the first base concourse on Saturday.
The Timber Rattlers are hosting their first ever Yooper Day and the first 1,000 fans to attend the game will receive a specially designed Timber Rattlers t-shirt with the Upper Peninsula in mind courtesy of Michigan Technological University, Stormy Kromer, Northern Michigan University, Northwinds Adventures, and Keweenaw Pub.
Businesses from the U.P. will be at the game and you will be able to see what they have to offer you. Additionally, there will be Upper Peninsula travel package prizes on this day to celebrate all things Yooper.
Full season, partial season, and group ticket packages are currently available for the 2018 season. Tickets packages are available online, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or (800) WI-TIMBER and in person. Groups of 20 or more may order tickets over the phone or in person. The Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium Box Office is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Fans may purchase individual game tickets for 2018 in person at the Timber Rattlers Box Office, over the phone at (920) 733-4152 or 1-800-WI-TIMBER, or through the team's website. The Box Office at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday and from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Saturdays.
