Timber Rattlers Wear New Brewers-Themed Jerseys for First Time on Sunday
April 27, 2018 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers News Release
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will wear their new Milwaukee Brewers-themed jerseys for the first time this season when they host the Peoria Chiefs on Sunday, April 29. Game time is 1:05pm.
The Brewers Sunday jersey is a tradition that began in 2009, the first season the Timber Rattlers had the Milwaukee Brewers as their Major League affiliate. Brewers Sunday hats are currently available in the Snake Pit Team Store at the ballpark. The online store should have those hats available soon.
This year's jerseys are cream-colored with the Timber Rattlers 'TR' logo inside the state of Wisconsin. Rattlers players and coaches will wear this jersey for every Sunday home game for the remainder of the season. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the final Sunday home game of the season on August 19. Proceeds from the auction will go to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Charity Foundation to benefit Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
This Sunday's game also features a Domingo Santana bobblehead giveaway. The first 1,000 fans to attend Sunday's game will receive a bobblehead of the current Milwaukee outfielder courtesy of Ansay & Associates.
Every Brewers Sunday at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium features catch on the field courtesy of Rasmussen College starting at noon and a postgame autograph session with the players sponsored by Tundraland. Brewers Sunday is presented by Rasmussen College and Star 98.
