ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Worcester Red Sox (38-35) began their six-game series with Rochester Red Wings (40-33) with a 4-2 victory on Tuesday night at Frontier Field.

Hernandez brought home Christin Stewart in the third inning on a single and a fielding error by Rochester center fielder Andrew Stevenson.
The Red Wings scored their first run on a fielder's choice in the fourth inning. Jake Noll hit a solo home run to make it a 3-2 game in the sixth.
