
Countdown to Face-Off: Kalamazoo Wings at Orlando Solar Bears

For the second straight night the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the Orlando Solar Bears. Last night, the Solar Bears hung on to defeat the K-Wings 4-3. After tonight the two teams will square off twice more, once at the Amway Center and another at Wings Stadium.
Last night's loss was only the second in regulation in the month of February for the K-Wings. Kalamazoo finished the month of February with a record of 8-2-0-1. Leading the North Division, yesterday's setback pushed the K-Wings to fourth place in the Eastern Conference.
Orlando will bring two streaks into this evening's contest. The Solar Bears are on an ECHL season-high 11-game winning streak. Besides the overall win streak, Orlando has been victorious in 10 straight contests at the Amway Center.

Strong February
Kalamazoo went 8-2-0-1 in the month of February, which is their second best February since joining the ECHL (2009-10). The K-Wings best February was back in 2010-11 when they went 10-2-0-2.
