
STEELHEADS: Robinson Returns from AHL's Stars

Boise, ID (3/1/14) - Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Saturday morning that goaltender Josh Robinson has been reassigned to the Idaho Steelheads from Texas of the American Hockey League.
He has joined the team on the road in Las Vegas and is expected to be available for the Idaho's game Saturday night against the Wranglers (8:10 PM, KTIK 1350 AM).
The 24-year-old Robinson is 9-3-1 with a 2.28 goals-against average in 13 appearances with Idaho after winning 27 games for the Steelheads as a rookie last season, earning himself team MVP honors. The Michigan Tech product has appeared in14 games at the AHL level with Texas, going 5-6 between the pipes for the Stars.
The AHL is the highest level of minor-league hockey in North America.
The Steelheads also released goaltender Josh Watson. The rookie out of Rochester Institute of Technology had a .905 save percentage in five appearances with Idaho.
Idaho returns home next week to host the Las Vegas Wranglers on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Friday and Saturday are the annual "Pink in the Rink" games, with the team wearing special, pink-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off to raise money for St. Luke's Mountain States Tumor Institute.
