Last season the K-Wings captured their fourth North Division title in the past five seasons. In the playoffs the K-Wings lost in six games to the Greenville Road Warriors in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Kalamazoo has 10 players in their lineup that have played for the team in the past.
