Kane County Cougars News Release

Fort Wayne, IN - Tuesday's night's series opener between the Kane County Cougars and Fort Wayne Wizards was suspended by rain at Memorial Stadium with the Wizards leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth inning. The game will resume at its stopping point on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. CDT. Wednesday's originally scheduled game -- now a seven-inning affair -- will follow the completion of the suspended game.

The Wizards scored the game's only run in the bottom of the third against Cougars starter Scott Deal when Jodam Rivera singled home Matt Stocco. The Cougars are in the middle of an 11-game road trip that started in Dayton and ends in Beloit.
