Cougars Blow out Snappers to Gain Wild Card Lead

The Kane County Cougars with a two game wild card lead over the Beloit Snappers as they head to Appleton, Wisconsin with a 14-5 victory over the Snappers Friday night at Pohlman Field.
After the first frame of the night the Snappers held a one run advantage before the Cougar offense exploded for nine runs late in the ball game.
The "Brodie Trophy Player of the Game" is Lance Ray who had a pair or RBI's and collected his 11th double of the season.
The Snappers continue their playoff aspirations Saturday night at they welcome in the Burlington Bees for a four game series at Pohlman Field. Game time is scheduled for 7:00PM as right hander Brad Stillings (8-4) toes the rubber for the Snappers.
