CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors struggled in two divisional games last weekend, dropping contests Friday in Stockton and Sunday in Ontario. They have seven points in the standings, one point behind Colorado for sixth place in the Western Conference.

STOCKTON 6 vs. Condors 1
The Condors were fighting back, trailing 2-1 late in the second, but the Thunder rattled off four goals in the final 22 minutes of play to cruise to a 6-1 victory. D Olivier Dame-Malka (pictured) scored the lone goal on the power play for Bakersfield, midway through the second frame.

ONTARIO 5 vs. Condors 2
Midway through the third period, new Condors D Trevor Hendridx scored his second goal of the game to tie it up 2-2. But less than a minute later the Reign regained the lead and later added insurance tallies for a 5-2 win. G Brian Stewart made 35 saves in the loss for Bakersfield.
NOTES: D Trevor Hendridx, who was picked up last week, made his Condors debut over the weekend, and recorded the first two-goal game of the season for a Bakersfield defenseman on Sunday.All three Condors goals over the weekend were unassisted.Of the 11 goals Bakersfield surrendered last weekend, six came in the third period.F Brett Perlini, F Parker Stanfield, F Robby Dee, D Ryan Annesley were all out of the lineup injured last weekend.The Condors have surrendered 17 third period goals, and 19 goals in the first and second periods, combined. Strangely, the Condors are at their best in the third period when it comes to shots, giving up less than 10 shots on the average in final frame.
LEAGUE LEADERS:G Scott Greenham is tied for 1st in shootout save percentage (1.000 %) and shootout wins (2). D Tyson Gimblett is 2nd among defensemen with 34 penalty minutes. He is tied for the league lead among blueliners with four fighting majors. The Condors are one shorthanded goal behind the league lead, with two.

The Condors wrap up their six-game road trip this week with three games against the Idaho Steelheads. All three games start at 6:10 p.m. Pacific Time, and can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio 970. Ryan Holt will bring you the action, with Condors Countdown starting 15 minutes before the drop of the puck. Fans can also tune in to the games on the iHeartRadio app on their mobile devices, or pay per view through America One.

The team returns home next week for three games in three days, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
