
Condors To Take Part In Greenfield Middle School Lights On

Tuesday, Oct. 20:
Condors mascot Baby Cal will be at Dr. Juliet Thorner Elementary, on 5501 Thorner St., from 1-1:30 p.m. Baby Cal will be acting out books that are read to the students by Condors Media & Community Relations Manager Jason Lockhart.
Thursday, Oct. 22
The Condors are excited to be taking part in the 10th Annual "Lights On" Celebration at Greenfield Middle School, located at 1109 Pacheco Rd. Baby Cal and the Condors Prize Wheel will be at the after-school carnival from 5-8 p.m. Come stop by the Condors table to win great prizes.
Monday, Oct. 26
Col. Claw'd will be kicking off the Charles H. Castle Elementary School Fundraiser from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Col. Claw'd will be taking part in a variety of events, including an assembly and lunch. Castle Elementary is located at 6001 Edgemont Dr.
Condors Toy Drive on Oct. 28:
When the team returns home on Wednesday, Oct. 28 to face the Ontario Reign, the Condors will be hosting the Annual Toy Drive, sponsored by ABC23 and R & D Leather. Fans who bring in a new, unwrapped toy will receive a $1 ticket to the evening's game. This year, the toys will be donated to Stay Focused Ministries. Over the past five years, the Condors, with help from their fans, have donated more than 1,300 toys.
Play Golf with the Condors:
On Monday, Nov. 2, the Condors are gearing up for the 12th Annual Charity Golf Classic at Rio Bravo Country Club, located at 15200 Casa Club Drive. Teams are comprised of four entrants and a Condors player at a cost of $125 per person. Included in the outing is a Condors Golf Tournament Polo, cart and greens fees, range balls prior to tee off, sack lunch, dinner following the round and extra prizes through a post-tournament raffle and auction. All proceeds from the event will go to the Kern Bridges Youth Homes, which provides a safe, stable and consistent environment for children who have been abused or neglected, and for children with serious emotional and behavioral difficulties. The event has raised more than $49,000 in its history. Call 324-PUCK (7825) to sign up today.
