
Condors Team Flag Giveaway Night On Friday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -The first-place Bakersfield Condors, official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, meet the Stockton Thunder at the Mercy and Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena on Friday, Jan. 8 for Team Flag Giveaway Night. Doors open at 6 p.m, puck drops at 7 p.m.
The Condors are breaking out a new promotion this Friday, Team Flag Giveaway Night, presented by ABC23, Fox Sports Radio 970 and Three Way Automotive Group. The first 2,000 adults 18 and over will receive a full color, 3'X 5' flag, featuring the Condors logo prominently placed in the middle, and including the team's slogan, "Strong Team, Strong Town," with a metallic background. Fly your colors proudly with this flag, which is perfect for your home, the office or place of business.
Friday's game also marks ABC23, SC Architect and Kern County Firefighters Classroom Champions Night, dedicated to providing complimentary tickets to students who achieve outstanding attendance levels.
During the first intermission, G Timo Pielmeier will be presented with the Kern Trophies Condor of the Month awards for both November and December. Over that span, Pielmeier went 10-4-0-2, with a 2.58 goals-against average, helping to extend Bakersfield's lead in the division.
Following every game, Condors players will be at the Bakersfield Marriott Autograph Booth, located on the arena concourse behind section 108. G Timo Pielmeierand RW Ryan Meneiwill be at the booth on Friday. The players will arrive at the booth approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the game to meet fans and sign autographs.

Due to ESPN 1230's coverage of the BCS National Championship game on Thursday, the Condors Coach's Show will not air this week. The Coach's Show will return to its regular time from 5-6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14.

Individual game tickets are on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days.
