
Cyclones Receive Ian McKenzie From Milwaukee

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators, announced this afternoon they have received forward Ian McKenzie from the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL).
McKenzie, 25, is in his second professional season, having appeared in 19 games with Milwaukee this year. He has collected a goal and an assist for two points with the Admirals. Last season, Ian appeared in 40 games with the Cyclones, collecting twelve goals and three assists for 15 points. He also played in 26 games with Milwaukee and had three goals and an assist for four points.
The six-foot-five, 236 pound native of Weyburn, SK played four seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL) between Moose Jaw and Seattle. McKenzie played in 228 games, netting 39 goals and 37 assists for 76 points.
In other Cyclones news, the club has signed Lee Lansdowne to an emergency back-up goaltender contract.
The Cyclones host the Trenton Devils tonight at 7:30pm at U.S. Bank Arena.
